I've found my furever family!

Hi my name is Onxy and I am certainly a gem.  I have beautiful green eyes and white around my mouth which makes me look very cute.  It took awhile but the volunteers realized I am deaf and that is why I startle so easily and am so fearful.  When the volunteers hold and pet me I feel safe.  My hope is that some day very soon I will be in a house of my very own so I can feel completely safe again.  Do you have that house?  I think I would love to be with another gentle, laid back anmial to help build my confidence.
