Humane Education
At Humane Society of Sumter County, we believe that education is key to promoting the humane treatment of animals. Through our Humane Education program, we teach children and adults the importance of kindness, respect, and responsible care for all animals.
Our representatives are available to speak to schools, clubs, and community groups across the county.
Educational Programs for Schools and Communities
We regularly visit schools and community organizations to share lessons on animal welfare and humane treatment. By fostering empathy and understanding in younger generations, we aim to create a more compassionate future for all animals.
Whether you’re a teacher, club leader, or community organizer, we are happy to arrange a visit to your classroom or meeting.
