Help Us Grow!

We’re excited to share that Humane Society of Sumter County is expanding, and we need your help to reach our goal!

We are close to completing our new office renovation. By the end of the first quarter, our new facility will provide much-needed space for our staff, volunteers, and adoptive families.

To donate and be part of this exciting growth for Humane Society of Sumter County. Every contribution brings us closer to achieving our mission of providing exceptional care for the animals and the people who love them.

Why Your Support Matters

In the very near future, we will begin our expansion effort with an air-conditioned, 30-kennel unit, complete with a multi-purpose room, cat area, food prep area, play rooms, dog training area, and intake and pet care.

With your support, we can make this dream a reality and continue to enhance the services we provide to the animals in our care.

Our new building will more than double our current office space and offer a range of benefits, including:

  • A welcoming Reception Area for adoptive families
  • A Private Counseling Room for one-on-one consultations
  • A Conference Room for staff and volunteer meetings
  • A dedicated Break Room for our hardworking team

Once we’ve moved into the new space, we’ll also have the opportunity to enhance our services with:

  • Improved Cat/Kitten Services
  • Dedicated Exam Rooms

Dog Living Rooms for a more home-like environment

How You Can Help

To complete this project, we need to raise $100,000 to cover the costs of building set-up, construction, roofing, electrical, plumbing, a new septic system, ramps, stairs, and more.

Your donation will directly support these efforts, helping us provide a better environment for the animals and families we serve.

A Special Thanks

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to TMR Recycling, our new neighbors, for their incredible contributions. TMR helped us with county and site plan approvals, and generously donated labor and materials to move the project forward. Thank you, TMR, for your continued support!
