Other Animals
We Rescue All Types of Animals
At Humane Society of Sumter County, we care for more than just cats and dogs. From ferrets to guinea pigs and even horses, we provide shelter and care for a wide variety of animals. If you’re looking to adopt a different kind of pet, check back often to see which animals are available for adoption.
Check Back for Availability
We frequently rescue animals of different species, and when they’re ready for adoption, they’ll appear here. Whether you’re looking for a small pet like a guinea pig or a larger companion like a horse, we may have the perfect animal waiting for you.
