Mission Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care, on Hwy. 301 in Oxford, will be hosting a benefit pet supply drive and adoption day for the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County on Wed., April 5th, from 10am-1pm.
Donations of pet related supplies will be accepted and interested loving adopters will have an opportunity to meet many adoptable dogs and cats.
Presenters will also be available for interested pet owners to discuss needs and concerns of their furry family members’ welfare throughout an owner’s and pet’s lifetime. Local presenters, Amy Pittman of the Pittman Law Firm, Lisa Grey of the Pet Peace of Mind/Cornerstone Hospice program and Claudia Labbe of the HS/SPCA will all have valuable information regarding the welfare of their pets. Light refreshments will be served and tours of Mission Oaks can be arranged by appointment.
