Remember, YOUR Humane Society SPCA is a 501(c)(3) organization so all monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent that IRS allows.

Matching Employer Programs:

Many employers have Matching Gift programs which would double your donation

Donations in Memoriam:

A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet. To do so, you can use the form above, or include a note with your donation if you send by mail.

Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities:

This method conserves the donor’s cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year’s tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

Direct Gifts of Life Insurance:

If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the YOUR Humane Society SPCA may provide benefits to both YOUR Humane Society SPCA and the donor. The Trust would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy’s value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

Wills:

The donor may list YOUR Humane Society SPCA as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made after the donor’s death.
