Bob Evans Hosts “Dine To Make a Difference”for the HS/SPCA
Tuesday, August 15th is “Dine to Make a Difference” at the original Bob Evans Restaurant on Parr Drive/CR 466 in The Villages. The restaurant will generously donate 15% of its revenue totals raised from entire day’s receipts attached to the event flyer supporting the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County. To get your copy of the required flyer, print a copy from the shelter’s Facebook or website pages, stop by the shelter or at any of their tabling events prior to the Bob Evans Community Fundraiser. Along with the flyer, remember to bring hungry friends, club members, co-workers, etc. anytime between 6:00am and 9:00pm for breakfast, lunch, dinner and take-out orders too.
“Supporters enjoying just one meal at Bob Evans on August 15th will help fund free meals to hungry pets in need along with our other public assistance programs” mentioned Villager and Chairman Celine Petrie. Donations will also help provide veterinary care and sheltering needs. Past Bob Evans “Dine to Make a Difference” community fundraisers have helped the HS/SPCA raise over $5000 in total. Ms. Petrie encouraged animal lover to “share a meal with friends, family and other animal lovers. It’s one more way to help our community be a kinder place to live. Over time, it’s grown into a family reunion of sorts with so many friendly faces throughout the day-long event!”
