Our Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County currently has funding for 100 FREE spay/neuter pet vouchers for qualifying Sumter County residents through May. This community assistance program is a vital necessity in reducing the pet over-population problem facing Sumter County animals who are then at risk for potential euthanasia. This FREE program is a critical facet towards ending animal suffering and homelessness. Apply now as a responsible pet owner and become part of the solution.

For details, please contact us at 352-793-9117 or visit us at our shelter office at 994 CR 529A in Lake Panasoffkee, Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm. Funding goes quickly and unwanted litters appear even quicker, so apply now and help reduce the pet overpopulation problem within Sumter County.

Donations towards our “Big Fix” Spay/Neuter Voucher program are also greatly in need to continue reducing the euthanasia rate of homeless pets within Sumter County.
